Starting with the original 1981 specs, this high-rise Calgary condo was a complete demolition and redesign. The high gloss, horizontal upper and walnut flat panel lower cabinets create a modern kitchen design. The solid marble counters and backsplash are pure luxury. Sound absorbing plank flooring was installed throughout the unit. Furniture in the living and dining areas was kept low in profile to allow a “least obstructed” panoramic view of the Bow River Valley. A basic tub was converted to an elegant shower and a free-standing tub was installed in the en-suite bath. A walnut plank feature wall in the master bedroom is a dramatic backdrop for the linen headboard. Marble, walnut, iron, leather, linen and velvet are elements of this genuinely luxurious space.
